Walking
Start at the center of Pyrgos, near the Pyrgos Kallistis village square. Head south on the main road (Epar.Od. Firon - Akrotiri) that leads towards Akrotiri. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign directing you towards the Akrotiri archaeological site. Continue walking along this road until you reach the turn-off for Akrotiri. Follow the signs towards the village of Akrotiri, which is approximately 2 kilometers from the main road. Once in Akrotiri, ask locals for directions to the Venetian Castle, as it is situated on a hill overlooking the area. The castle is about a 10-minute walk from the village center.

From Pyrgos, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located along the main road towards Fira. Take the local bus towards Akrotiri. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes.
