Walking
From the center of Pyrgos, head east towards the main road (Epar.Od. Fira - Pyrgou). Follow this road until you reach the junction with Epar.Od. Pirgou - Akrotiriou. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the bus station. From there, take the bus to Perivolos Beach (Bus services are regular, check the schedule for timings). Once you get off the bus at Perivolos Beach, walk towards the beach area. You will find the beautiful black sand beach of Perivolos, known for its vibrant atmosphere.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Pyrgos. Start from the main square and head towards Epar.Od. Fira - Pyrgou. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Epar.Od. Pirgou - Akrotiriou. Take a right turn and keep cycling straight. You’ll encounter signs indicating Perivolos Beach, which will guide you directly to the beach. The ride is approximately 7 km and should take around 25-30 minutes.
Public Transport
Locate the nearest bus stop in Pyrgos, which is typically close to the main square. Take the bus heading towards Perivolos, ensuring you check that the bus is going in the right direction before boarding. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Perivolos stop, disembark and walk towards the beach area – it is a short walk from the bus stop to the beach.
