Walking
From the center of Rhodes Old Town, the Medieval Town Moat is easily accessible on foot. Orient yourself towards the outer walls of the Old Town. The moat surrounds the Old Town, and entrances can be found near the major gates, such as the Akandia Gate or Liberty Gate. Follow the signs for the Medieval Walls or Moat. There are no entrance fees.

If arriving by bus at the main bus station near Nea Agora (New Market) in Mandraki Harbour, walk towards the Old Town. The moat is a short walk from the bus station, surrounding the Old Town walls. Enter the Old Town and follow signs towards the walls, or walk along the outer perimeter to find an entrance to the moat. Bus tickets within Rhodes Town cost around €1.20.

Taxis are readily available throughout Rhodes Town. Ask the driver to take you to one of the gates of the Old Town, such as Akandia Gate or Liberty Gate, to access the Medieval Town Moat.
