    Walking

    From the Old Town, head south towards Mandraki Harbor. Continue along the waterfront promenade until you reach the New Town area. Turn left onto Platonos Street and walk straight until you reach Christoforou Street. Turn right, and Sound & Light will be on your left at Pl. Al. Christoforou 3. The walk is generally easy and takes about 15-20 minutes.

    From the main bus station in Rhodes Town, take a bus heading towards the New Town. Check the route information for stops near Christoforou Street. Get off the bus and follow signs to Platonos Street, then walk towards Christoforou Street. Sound & Light is at Pl. Al. Christoforou 3. A single bus fare is approximately €2.50.

    Sound & Light, located in Rhodes Town, was once a major attraction that offered visitors an immersive experience into the island's rich history. Established in 1961, this open-air theater used stereophonic sound and vibrant lights to depict myths, legends, and historical events, particularly the battles between the citizens of Rhodes, the Knights of St. John, and the Turkish army. The performances took place in the Municipal Garden, with the Palace of the Grand Master and the Tower of Suleiman serving as a natural backdrop.Designed during the Italian occupation, the venue had a seating capacity of 300 and aimed to provide an engaging cultural experience. The shows, lasting approximately 50 minutes, were presented in multiple languages. While the Sound & Light show itself is currently not operational, the site remains as a reminder of Rhodes' layered past.Recent visitor reviews indicate that the park is closed indefinitely and has fallen into disrepair. Despite previous restoration efforts, the site is now largely abandoned.
