Walking
From the village of Lindos, the Acropolis is accessible on foot via a stepped path. The walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes and involves a fairly steep climb. Signage is available throughout the village to guide you. Consider wearing appropriate footwear. Alternatively, donkey rides are available from the village center to the entrance of the Acropolis for a fee. Expect to pay around €20 per person.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus from Rhodes Town or other parts of the island, disembark at the main bus stop in Lindos. From there, follow the signs through the village towards the Acropolis. The walk from the bus stop to the Acropolis entrance is approximately 15-20 minutes and involves navigating the narrow streets of Lindos. A local shuttle bus service is available from the main square to help avoid some of the walk for €0.50.
Taxi
Taxis can drop you off at the edge of Lindos village. From there, follow the walking directions to the Acropolis entrance. Expect to pay around €50-€60 for a taxi from Rhodes Town to Lindos. Once in Lindos, a shuttle bus can help you get closer to the Acropolis for €0.50.
Parking
Parking is available outside the main village of Lindos. Several parking lots are located within a short walking distance. Lindos Heart Parking is the only authorized parking lot inside the village, costing €7 per day. St. Paul's Parking, near St. Paul's Bay, also costs €7 per day. From the parking areas, follow the signs through the village towards the Acropolis, a walk of approximately 10-15 minutes.
