The Enchanting Medieval Clock Tower of Rhodes

Getting There

• Walking

  From the central square of Rhodes Old Town, known as Plateia Ippokratous, head east towards the entrance of the Old Town. Walk through the Street of the Knights (Odós Ippotón), which is lined with medieval buildings. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Apollonion Street. Turn left onto Apollonion Street and walk for about 200 meters. The Medieval Clock Tower will be on your right side at Apollonion 11.

• Walking

  If you are near the Palace of the Grand Master, exit the palace grounds and head towards the main road. Take a right on the main road, then continue until you reach the junction with Apollonion Street. Turn right onto Apollonion Street and walk for approximately 300 meters. The Medieval Clock Tower will be on your left, identifiable by its distinctive tall structure.

• Walking

  Starting from the Archaeological Museum of Rhodes, exit the museum and turn left onto the street. Walk straight until you reach the large square. From there, head towards the Street of the Knights. Once you are on the Street of the Knights, continue until you reach the intersection with Apollonion Street. Turn left and walk about 200 meters; the Medieval Clock Tower will be on your right.

• Public Transport (if applicable)

  While most tourists prefer to walk, if you are coming from outside the Old Town, you can take a local bus to the 'Rhodes Old Town' stop. Buses run frequently from various parts of the island. Once you disembark, simply follow the signs towards the Old Town entrance. From there, follow one of the walking routes described above to reach the Medieval Clock Tower.
