Walking
If you are in the town of Pythagoreio, start by heading east along the waterfront promenade. Enjoy the view of the harbor and the sea. Continue straight until you reach the main square (Plateia Pythagoreio). From the square, take the road that leads uphill, following the signs to the archaeological sites. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see the signs directing you to القلعة الرومانية (Roman Castle) on your left. Continue on this path for another 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the site.
Public Transport
If you are starting from Samos Town, you can take a local bus to Pythagoreio. The bus departs from the main bus station in Samos Town. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest times. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Pythagoreio. Once you get off the bus, follow the directions provided for walking from the town to القلعة الرومانية, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle in Pythagoreio. Once you have a bike, head towards the waterfront and follow the same route as pedestrians. Cycling along the waterfront offers a scenic route. Make sure to follow the road leading uphill towards the archaeological site. The journey should take you about 10-15 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
