Bus
From anywhere in Samos town, head to the main bus terminal located near the port. Look for buses heading to Selçuk, İzmir. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Selçuk, get off at the main bus station. The Basilica of Saint John is about a 10-minute walk from there.
Walking
If you're already in Selçuk, start from the main bus station. Exit the station and turn left onto Atatürk Boulevard. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with St. Jean Street. Turn right onto St. Jean Street and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. You will find the Basilica of Saint John on your right.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Selçuk. Simply tell the driver you want to go to the Basilica of Saint John. The ride should take around 5 minutes from the town center.
Bicycle
For an adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle in Selçuk. Start from the center of town and head towards the Basilica of Saint John. Follow the signs for the historical sites. The ride will take about 10 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.
