Walking
If you are in the town of Samos (Vathy), start at the central square known as Plateia. Head south on Ethnarchou Makariou street for about 200 meters until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn left and follow the promenade along the coast for approximately 1 kilometer. You'll pass several cafes and shops along the way. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, where you'll see signs directing you to the Basilica of Saint John.

Bus
From Vathy, you can take a local bus to the nearby town of Pythagoreio, which is about 10 kilometers away. Buses run regularly from the central bus station in Vathy. Once you arrive at Pythagoreio, exit the bus station and head towards the harbor. From the harbor, it's a short walk (about 5-10 minutes) to the Basilica of Saint John. Follow signs towards the ancient sites and you will find the basilica.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Vathy. Start from the central square and make your way to the coastal road. Cycle along the waterfront road towards Pythagoreio. The distance is around 10 kilometers and the ride is scenic, taking approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Pythagoreio, follow the signs to the Basilica of Saint John.
