Start your journey from Fira, the capital of Santorini. Head to the Fira bus station, located near the main square. Look for the bus that goes to Kamari or Monolithos. The bus ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you reach the Monolithos stop, disembark and follow the signs towards the beach area. You will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along the coastline towards the windmill. Keep an eye out for the windmill on the hill; it’s a prominent landmark.

If you are near the beach area of Monolithos, you can walk directly to the windmill. From the beach, head towards the hillside path leading up to the windmill. The walk is uphill and may take around 15-20 minutes. Follow the well-trodden path, and you will reach the windmill where you can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

For a more comfortable option, consider taking a taxi from Fira or any nearby location. Simply ask the taxi driver to take you to Monolithos windmill. The taxi ride will be about 20 minutes depending on traffic, and you will be dropped off near the base of the hill where the windmill is located. From there, you will need to walk up the hill for about 10 minutes to reach the windmill.
