The Collection of Icons and Ecclesiastical Heirlooms of Agia Triada is located in the village of Pyrgos Kallistis, Santorini, within a former Catholic church that was once part of a small convent. The church, Agia Triada, was rebuilt after being devastated by an earthquake in 1956. The museum opened in August 1997 to display a collection of holy images and ecclesiastical relics gathered and preserved by the Community of Pyrgos-Kallisti. The collection includes icons from local and Cretan icon painters, wood carvings, metalworks, ceramics, ecclesiastical embroideries, vestments, liturgical books, and other objects of ecclesiastical use, mainly dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Among the icons, visitors can see Panagia Vrefokratousa (Virgin and Child), Theia Leitourgia (Mass), and icons of Aghios Ioannis, Aghios Georgios, and Koimisi this Theotokou (Assumption of the Virgin Mary). Other exhibits include a Cross with trilobed ends and "sad icons" with Virgin Mary and John. The museum provides insights into the artistic styles and religious trends of the time.
