Bus
From Pyrgos, walk to the nearest bus stop which is located on the main road towards Fira. Look for the bus stop sign indicating routes to Fira or Oia. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or the bus driver, if available. Take the bus heading to Fira, which runs approximately every 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Fira, you can switch to another bus that goes directly to Santorini. The bus station in Fira is located in the center of town, near the main square.
Walking to Fira
If you prefer to walk, exit Pyrgos and follow the marked pedestrian paths that lead you to Fira. The walk is about 2.5 kilometers and takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Head north on the main road, and as you approach Fira, you will see signs directing you to the bus station. Once in Fira, follow the instructions for catching a bus to Santorini.
Taxi
For a more comfortable option, you can call a local taxi from Pyrgos. Simply ask your hotel or local shop for a taxi service. The ride to Fira takes about 10-15 minutes. Once in Fira, have the taxi drop you off at the bus station, where you can catch a bus to Santorini.
