Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Serres, head towards the main square (Plateia Eleftherias). From the square, walk towards the street named 'Dimitriou' until you reach the intersection with 'Megalou Alexandrou' street. Turn right onto Megalou Alexandrou street and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with 'Exochon' street, turn left. Continue walking for about 500 meters until you see signs for Πρόποδες Ακρόπολης Σερρών on your right. The hiking area is located at Exochon 57, Serres 621 22.

• Public Bus

  From the center of Serres, walk to the main bus station, which is located near the square. Look for the bus routes that head towards Exochon. Take the bus; it should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the stop closest to Exochon street. From the bus stop, you will need to walk about 200 meters to reach Πρόποδες Ακρόπολης Σερρών, which is located at Exochon 57. Follow the signs directing you to the hiking area.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Serres. Start from the main square and head towards 'Dimitriou' street, then merge onto 'Megalou Alexandrou' street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the traffic lights at 'Exochon' street. Turn left and cycle for about 500 meters until you reach Πρόποδες Ακρόπολης Σερρών at Exochon 57. The cycling route is mostly flat and enjoyable.
