Limnionas Beach: A Hidden Aegean Gem on Evia

Limnionas Beach, situated on the east coast of central Evia, near the villages of Agia Sofia and Myloi, is a picturesque escape. This Aegean beach is approximately 600 meters long and 100 meters wide, offering ample space to unwind. The beach's most distinctive feature is the large rock adorned with a Greek flag that splits it in two, creating stunning photo opportunities and inviting jumps into the sea. The coast is composed of small pebbles and coarse, dark sand, leading into clear, deep waters that are perfect for swimming. Snorkelers will appreciate the interesting seabed with its rocks and diverse marine life. On the northern side of the bay, a wide cave can be found about 15 minutes swimming distance from the beach, its entrance only half a meter high at low tide.
