Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Aristotelous Square, head east towards Egnatia Street. Continue along Egnatia Street for about 1 km. You will pass the rotunda on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Egnatia 144. The Arch of Galerius is located on your right side, easily visible.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From the White Tower, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 78 or 14 that goes towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Kamara' (the bus stop is close to the Arch of Galerius). From there, it’s a short walk to the arch, just follow the signs that indicate the direction to the Arch of Galerius.

  • Walking from the Rotunda

    If you are near the Rotunda, simply exit the Rotunda and head south towards Egnatia Street. The Arch of Galerius is only a 5-minute walk. As you exit, turn left and walk straight down Egnatia Street until you see the Arch on your right.

  • Metro and Walking

    Take the metro to the 'Democracy' station. Exit and walk towards Egnatia Street. Once you reach Egnatia Street, turn right and continue walking for about 500 meters. The Arch of Galerius will be on your left at Egnatia 144.
