    From Chalkida, take the main road towards North Evia until you reach Psachna. From there, follow the signs to Kontodespoti and Limnionas. The route includes a mountain road that is paved and generally in good condition. Parking is available along the beach road and in designated car parks. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak summer weekends.

    Public Transport

    The best way to reach Limnionas Beach from Athens without a car is by bus. Take the KTEL bus from Athens (Liosion Street) to Volos. From Volos, you may need to take a taxi to Limnionas Beach. The bus journey from Athens to Volos takes approximately 5h 51m and costs €55 - €75. Taxi fares vary.

    Limnionas Beach is located on the east side of central Evia, near the villages of Agia Sofia and Myloi. The beach is approximately 50 km east of Chalkida. This Aegean beach is framed by mountain slopes, creating a large bay split into two distinct sections by a prominent rock. The rock is decorated with a Greek flag. The coastline features small pebbles and coarse, dark sand. The waters are crystal-clear and deep, making it ideal for snorkeling and exploring the diverse marine life. The beach is not organized, so visitors should bring their own sunbeds and umbrellas. However, there are a few taverns and cafes nearby. Free camping is popular, though not officially permitted. The northern part of the beach is known for its calm sea and caves. Parking is available along the beach road and in designated car parks.
