Vagonetto Mining Park, situated 51 km from Lamia on the National Road to Amfissa, offers a unique and immersive experience into the world of bauxite mining. Vagonetto was created to preserve and showcase the history of bauxite mining in the Fokida region.The park's origins lie in Tunnel 850, a bauxite mine that operated from the mid-1960s until 1972.
