Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Zakynthos Town, head towards the harbor area and locate the main road leading out of town. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the junction with the main road (Agiou Nikolaou Street). Turn left onto Agiou Nikolaou Street and continue walking straight. After about 2 kilometers, you will pass by some shops and restaurants. Keep following this road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading towards the Vasilikos area. Continue straight for another 3 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork and follow the signs for the lighthouse. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the Zakynthos Lighthouse on your right side.

Public Transport
From Zakynthos Town, make your way to the central bus station located near the harbor. Look for the bus that goes to Vasilikos, which is marked clearly. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride; it should take approximately 30 minutes. When you reach the Vasilikos area, ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for the lighthouse. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk. Head towards the coast and follow the signs for the lighthouse, which is located on the cliffs overlooking the sea.
