  • Public Transport

    From St. George's, take bus #6 towards Grenville. From Grenville, take bus #2 towards Mt. Carmel Junction. The bus ride from Grenville to Mt. Carmel Junction costs approximately EC$2.50 and takes about 20 minutes. From the Mt. Carmel bus stop, follow the signs to Mt. Carmel Falls, which is about a 15-minute walk. Alternatively, from Gouyave, take a minibus heading to the Mount Carmel area. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Mount Carmel stop. The journey should take around 30 minutes. After you reach the Mount Carmel bus stop, ask locals for directions to the falls, which is typically a short walk of about 10-15 minutes from the bus stop.

    From the center of Grenville, head south towards the main road. Proceed along the main road, passing the Grenville Bus Terminal. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the main road leading to Sauteurs. At this junction, turn left onto the road that leads towards Mount Carmel. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Mount Carmel Falls. Once you reach the sign, take the path leading to the falls, which is well-marked.

    From St. George's, the drive to Mt. Carmel Falls takes approximately 45 minutes. Follow the Eastern Main Road towards Grenville. Continue past Grenville, looking for signs for Mt. Carmel Falls. The entrance to the falls is easy to miss, so pay close attention to the signs. There are local people around the area that will help you find the entrance and a parking spot along Mt. Carmel Rd. Parking is available along Mt. Carmel Road. Taxi fares from St. George's to Mt. Carmel Falls range from EC$100-150.
