Getting There

  • Walking

    From the end of Cotton Bailey Road, follow the dirt path to the right of the property with a wire fence. Continue past small farms and through an orchard. The path leads through some bush where you should see a cave. After a few minutes, the path goes steeply down a hill to Black Bay Beach.

  • Public Transport

    From St. George's, take a public bus towards Concord. Ask the driver to stop at the Concord main road. From there, walk along Cotton Bailey Road for approximately 20 minutes to the start of the trail. Follow the dirt path to the right of the property with a wire fence. Continue past small farms and through an orchard. The path leads through some bush where you should see a cave. After a few minutes, the path goes steeply down a hill to Black Bay Beach. Bus fare from St. George's to Concord is approximately EC$2.50 - EC$6.50.

  • Taxi

    Take a taxi from St. George's to the end of Cotton Bailey Road near Concord. From there, walk along the dirt path to the right of the property with a wire fence. Continue past small farms and through an orchard. The path leads through some bush where you should see a cave. After a few minutes, the path goes steeply down a hill to Black Bay Beach. A taxi from St. George's to Grand Anse costs approximately EC$30-EC$40. Negotiate the price with the driver before accepting the ride.
