Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From St. George's, take a number 6 van towards Grand Etang National Park. The fare is approximately 4-5 EC (1.50 USD). Vans leave from the St. George bus station when full. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Grand Etang National Park. From there, it's a short walk to the Mount Qua Qua trailhead.

  • Car

    Drive along the main road through the center of Grenada, which leads directly through Grand Etang National Park. Parking is available on the right-hand side, opposite a row of palm trees. Be aware that Grenada drives on the left, and a local driver's license is required (approximately 60 EC / 20 USD). The trailhead is a short walk from the visitor center.

Mount Qua Qua, rising 722m (2370 ft) high, offers a rewarding hiking experience within Grenada's lush Grand Etang National Park. The well-maintained trail allows hikers to traverse through verdant rainforest. As you ascend, keep an eye out for the unique flora and fauna, including elfin woodland sculpted by the trade winds.
