Public Transport

To reach Bathway Beach via public transport, start at the main bus terminal in Saint George. Look for a bus heading towards Grenville and inform the driver that you want to get off at Bathway Beach. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards the beach entrance, which is a short distance away. Bus fare is typically around $2-3 EC dollars per person from Levera Beach. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.

Car

If driving from the center of Saint George, head east on Melville Street towards the Carenage. Continue straight onto the Morne Jaloux Road, and follow the signs for Grand Anse. After approximately 5 minutes, you will reach the junction at Grand Anse. Take a left onto the Coast Road (Route 3) and follow this road for about 15 minutes. Look for signs indicating Bathway Beach, and turn left onto the road leading to the beach entrance. Parking is free at the entrance, although spaces are limited.

On Sundays, families often cook over open fires, turning the beach into a lively social hub. The beach is also known for its local vendors offering delicious Grenadian snacks and refreshments.Nature enthusiasts will appreciate Bathway Beach's proximity to Levera National Park, a nesting ground for leatherback turtles. The park also offers opportunities for bird-watching and exploring the unique mangrove ecosystem. The beach provides good parking, bathroom facilities, and an information center. Lifeguards are usually on duty from 9 am to 6 pm.
