Wander through beds of colorful shrubs, admire the extensive collection of heliconias and ginger lilies, and discover tropical and spice trees, including flamboyant, mahogany, and bay leaf. Designed to provide year-round color, the gardens offer a constantly evolving display of blooms. Inside the Great House, a small museum displays artifacts and exhibits that celebrate local traditions and history. The Tower Estate also features a tea house where visitors can indulge in a variety of exquisite teas, including the estate's famous blue tea made from butterfly pea flowers, while enjoying picturesque views. The estate provides a wealth of vegetables and fruits, along with flowers and medicinal plants for signature tea blends. Afternoon tea is available Tuesday to Friday by appointment and is served on antique settings and china. The Tower Estate was originally conceived as a gift from C F Renwick to his wife and has been owned by the Slinger family since then. Victoria Slinger, the wife of Paul Slinger, a former minister of Tourism in the Grenada government, has developed it into a tropical paradise that is listed in the book “1001 gardens you must see before you die”.
