Getting There

• Public Transportation

  To reach The Busheire using public transportation, you can catch a local bus from the main bus terminal in Saint David. Look for buses heading towards Simon or the surrounding area. The fare for local buses is typically around 2-3 EC dollars (Eastern Caribbean Dollars). Inform the driver that you are going to Simon and ask to be dropped off near 49PR+825. Once you get off the bus, you may need to walk a short distance to find The Busheire, so be sure to have a map or ask locals for directions if needed.

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available in Grenada. Negotiate the price of your taxi fare before accepting the ride. A taxi from Grenada Airport to St. George's city center should cost €8.50 (XCD 25) or $10 (€9). From there, you can take another taxi to The Busheire in Simon. Ensure the taxi has a rate card to avoid overcharging. Tipping your driver 10% is customary.

  If you're traveling by car in Saint David, start by heading towards the main road, the A3, which runs through the area. From the center of Saint David, drive south on the A3 for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction with the road leading to Simon. Turn left onto the road that leads to Simon. Continue on this road for approximately 10 minutes. You will pass through a few small villages and scenic views of the coastline. As you approach Simon, keep an eye out for signage indicating The Busheire, which is located at 49PR+825. Look for the entrance along the roadside. The Busheire offers a designated parking lot for visitors arriving by car. The parking area is usually free of charge, allowing easy access to the beach and ensuring a hassle-free arrival.
