From St. George's, take the #5 bus towards Sauteurs. The bus ride offers scenic views along the way. The fare to Sauteurs is approximately EC$8.00. From the Sauteurs bus terminal, Welcome Stone is a short taxi ride or a steep 30-45 minute walk. Taxis from Sauteurs to Welcome Stone may cost around EC$20-30. Confirm the taxi fare before starting your journey. Alternatively, walk from Sauteurs, following the main road towards the north. Look for signs indicating the direction of Welcome Stone. The walk involves a steep uphill climb for the last section. Buses operate from 7 am to 7 pm.
Driving
From St. George's, follow the main road (A1) north towards Sauteurs. The drive is approximately one hour. Once in Sauteurs, continue towards Rose Hill. Be aware that the road leading to Welcome Stone is very steep with limited parking at the top. Parking is free but can be challenging to find. The final approach involves navigating a narrow, steep concrete road. Exercise caution, especially with smaller vehicles. From the parking area, it's a short 5-10 minute walk to the Welcome Stone lookout point.
