More Than a Fishing Trip—An Unforgettable Experience

Having spent several years blue-water fishing, we found our experience in Grenada truly unforgettable. Just 20 minutes outside the harbor, the lines were in the water, and we were surrounded by breathtaking views of the island. The crew quickly put us on our first fish—a sailfish! Catching a sailfish had been a dream for many years, and we made memories as we fought the fish, admired its beauty alongside the boat, and released it. We went on to catch multiple mahi-mahi, making an incredible day even better. What truly set this charter apart, however, was the crew. Josh's passion for fishing is contagious, and he genuinely enjoyed sharing his knowledge with us. After more than 20 years of offshore sportfishing, I experienced something I never had before—Josh took the time to teach us exactly how to rig a ballyhoo so it swims naturally beneath the surface. The crew weren't only focused on putting us on fish; they wanted us to understand why they wanted us to understand why they did what they did and to leave with a deeper appreciation for the sport. That level of mentorship is incredibly rare. After we returned to shore, Neon spent time sharing his love and knowledge of Grenada, giving us an even greater appreciation for this beautiful island nation and its people. We are grateful to have shared this experience with Neon, Josh, Travis, and the Captain. Out of all the amazing adventures we experienced during our visit to Grenada, this fishing trip stands out as one of the absolute highlights. Fishing never comes with guarantees—but if anyone can put you on fish, it's this crew. Their experience, preparation, and dedication are second to none. Grenada will always hold a special place in our hearts, not only because of its stunning beauty but because of the genuinely kind and welcoming people who made our trip unforgettable. Brilliant fun

Communication was poor. With two days to go I could not establish what time my partner and I were going to be collected from the port. Despite several messages I only got a reply 10 minutes before the pickup time. The minibus ride to the top of the mountain was like wacky races. The driver overtook everything even though we weren’t late and it is a hill climb with sharp hairpin turns and very uneven roads. I don’t normally get carsick but had to ask the driver to slow down. He did and then I was okay. The river tubing experience itself was excellent, safe, with safety helmet and vest provided. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Expect to get wet. One area they could improve is the ropes used to attach the base to the rubber tubes. You won’t even notice how much your arms are getting scraped for 45 mins until you get back to your ship and wonder how it happened. I would still recommend it. Maybe wear a long sleeved top to avoid rope burns on your forearms.

Unforgettable memories from Peak to Pools

If you are visiting Grenada and love the outdoors, this hike is an absolute must! We started our trek at Mt. Qua Qua, and the views were simply breathtaking. The hike was muddy and difficult at points, but the views were spectacular! Standing at the summit provided a stunning 360-degree panorama of the island and a unique perspective of the Grand Etang crater lake below. The next stop was to Seven Sisters Falls, which was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. After a challenging and rewarding hike, arriving at the falls felt like discovering a hidden paradise. Jumping into the cool, crystal-clear pools was the ultimate reward for our efforts. Densil was an incredible guide and showed us all the ‘true Grenada’! Highly recommended for anyone looking to see the wild, natural beauty of Grenada!
