Oka Point: Guam's Serene Coastal Overlook

Oka Point, situated in Oka, Guam, provides a serene escape with its stunning observation deck and breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding landscapes. The hospital served primarily as a tuberculosis hospital before being converted into a general hospital. The original hospital was destroyed by Typhoon Pamela in 1976, and a new hospital was built in a different location. Today, the area is also near the Sagan Kotturan Chamoru, an organization dedicated to preserving Chamorro culture. Oka Point is also a fantastic vantage point for whale watching during migration season. The area is rich in biodiversity, making it perfect for nature lovers.
