From the main bus terminal in Hagåtña, board a Guam Regional Transit Authority (GRTA) bus heading to Barrigada. Check the schedule for the next departing bus, as service frequencies vary from 30 minutes to two hours. The journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes. Disembark at the Barrigada Post Office stop. From there, walk north on Route 8 for about 0.3 miles. The Old Tiyan Carnival Grounds will be on your left, marked by the FRG5+87C address. GRTA bus fare is $1.00 per ride, or $3.00 for a day pass.

Taxis are available at major shopping centers and hotels. A taxi ride from Hagåtña to the Old Tiyan Carnival Grounds takes approximately 15-20 minutes. The standard flag rate is $2.40, $4.00 for the first mile, and $0.80 every ¼ mile thereafter. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for the trip.
