Getting There

  • Walking

    From the trailhead (13.45267, 144.71635), the hike to Upper Sigua Falls is approximately 2.5 miles round trip. The trail runs parallel to Leo Palace for a while before descending down to the river. At the bottom, a fork appears; head right for Alutom Falls (5-10 minutes extra) and left for Upper Sigua Falls. Cross the river at the top of the falls and head down using the ropes. Be cautious as the descent is steep. There are no fees associated with hiking to Upper Sigua Falls.

  • Public Transport

    To reach the Upper Sigua Falls trailhead using public transportation, take a bus from Yona Church to Hagatna Pool Terminal, then transfer to a bus that heads towards the trailhead area. From the nearest bus stop, follow the walking guidance to reach the falls. A one-way bus fare is approximately $3. Expect a 1.5-hour travel time.
