Getting There

  • Driving

    The most common way to reach Mt. Lam Lam is by car. From Tumon Bay, head south on Marine Corps Drive (Route 1). Turn left onto Route 2A, then continue onto Route 2. Drive through Agat and continue for approximately 3 miles. Look for a red wall on the right side of the road. Parking is available across the street at the Cetti Bay Overlook. The trailhead is on the left, across the street from the overlook. Car rentals are available at the airport and in Tumon. Expect the drive to take around 40 minutes from Tumon Bay. There are no tolls. Parking is free.

  • Public Transport

    Guam's public transportation system, the Guam Regional Transit Authority (GRTA), operates bus routes that connect many villages on the island. However, bus service to the Mt. Lam Lam trailhead is limited, and may require a 30-minute walk from the nearest bus stop on Route 1. The standard bus fare is $1.00 per ride, or $3.00 for a day pass. Buses operate Monday through Saturday, with no service on Sundays or holidays. Check the GRTA website for the most up-to-date schedules and route information.

  • Taxi/Ride-Share

    Taxis are readily available at hotels and major shopping centers. Ride-sharing services like Good to Go Rides also operate on Guam. A taxi from Tumon Bay to the Mt. Lam Lam trailhead will cost approximately $80-$100. The standard taxi flag rate is $4.00 for the first mile and $0.80 for every 1/4 mile thereafter. Ride-share fares may vary. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
