From Guam International Airport (GUM), take Route 1 (Marine Corps Drive) south. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 4. Turn left onto Route 4 and continue towards Merizo. Follow signs for Merizo Pier. Parking is available near the pier. Expect a 45-minute drive. Parking availability may be limited.

From Guam International Airport (GUM), take the bus to Hagatna Pool Terminal. From Hagatna, take the bus towards Merizo. Get off at the Merizo stop. From there, walk about 0.5 miles to Merizo Pier. During the Japanese occupation of Guam in 1941, a contingent of Japanese troops landed at Bile Bay on Merizo's western shore. In July 1944, the village was the site of a massacre of Chamorros by Japanese troops. Each year in July, people hike to the massacre sites for prayer services.
