Getting There

  • Walking

    From Sinajana, start at the Sinajana Community Center. Head north on Route 1 (also known as Marine Corps Drive). Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 3. This route is busy, so be cautious and walk on the sidewalk. Once you reach Route 3, turn left and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by various local shops and eateries. After 0.5 miles, look for a bus stop. This is where you can catch the bus to Yigo.

  • Bus

    At the bus stop on Route 3, wait for the bus heading to Yigo. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as the frequency may vary. The ride to Yigo will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Yigo, ask the bus driver or locals for directions to Spur Road, as the bus may not drop you directly at the wildlife refuge.

  • Walking

    After getting off the bus in Yigo, walk towards Spur Road. You may need to ask for directions, but generally, head northwest on Route 1 until you see Spur Road. Turn onto Spur Road and continue walking for about 1 mile. The Guam National Wildlife Refuge will be on your left. Look for signs as you approach the entrance.
