Getting There

    If driving to Oka Cliff, head towards Route 1 in Tumon. Continue on Route 1 until you reach Route 6 in Dededo. Follow Route 6 north until you see signs for Oka Point. Turn right onto the road leading to Oka Cliff and continue to the parking area. From there, hike to the cliff. Parking is free. Be aware that the parking area may be full.

  • Public Transport

    To reach Oka Cliff by public transport, take a bus to Guam Premier Outlets in Tamuning. Transfer to a bus heading towards Dededo. Get off at the stop closest to Oka Point and walk towards the cliff. Bus schedules may be limited, so plan accordingly. The Red Shuttle Bus, which costs $4, takes visitors from local hotels to the three major shopping centers. From the shopping centers, you can transfer to a bus heading towards Oka Cliff.

  • Walking

    From the Agat Marina, head southeast on Marine Corps Dr toward Agat Village. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Cross the street and continue straight on the sidewalk, heading toward Oka Bay. After about 0.7 miles, you will come to Oka Cliff. Look for the signs leading to the viewing area.

Later, in 1952, the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) was built as a residential nursing school, with the main hospital structure following two years later. The hospital served as a tuberculosis hospital before being converted into a general hospital. The old GMH was demolished around the 1990s.
