    From the central park of Antigua Guatemala (Parque Central), head south on 5a Avenida Sur. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 3a Calle Poniente. Turn right and walk towards the market area. Once you reach the market, look for signs for colectivo vans to 'San Juan del Obispo.' These vans are usually parked near the market. Board one of the vans, and they will take you to the base of Agua Volcano.

    Once you board the colectivo van to 'San Juan del Obispo,' the ride will take about 30 minutes. Enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape. When you arrive at San Juan del Obispo, you will be dropped off near the main plaza. From here, look for signs or ask locals for directions to the trailhead for Agua Volcano. The trail is well-marked, and you will need to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers from the plaza to reach the entrance of the hiking trail.
