Walking
From Panajachel town center, head north along the main road, passing hotels and businesses. Continue for approximately 2 kilometers, following the road as it ascends slightly. The entrance to Reserva Natural Atitlán will be on your left, marked with signs. Note that the walk is uphill and there is no sidewalk for a portion of the way. Consider taking a tuk-tuk or taxi for easier access.
Tuk-tuk
From Panajachel town center, tuk-tuks are readily available. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. A typical ride to Reserva Natural Atitlán costs Q15-Q25, depending on your starting point and negotiation skills. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
