Getting There

Walking
From the central park in Flores, head southeast towards the main road, Calle 30. Once you reach Calle 30, turn left and walk along the road towards the bridge that connects Flores to the mainland. Cross the bridge, which is about 1 kilometer long. After crossing, continue straight on the main road (Carretera a El Remate) for approximately 10 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards El Remate. As you approach the town of El Remate, you’ll see Parque El Remate on your left, near RD-PET-3.

Tuk-Tuk
To take a tuk-tuk from Flores to Parque El Remate, find a tuk-tuk stand near the central park. Let the driver know you want to go to Parque El Remate. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the main road (Carretera a El Remate) until you reach the park. You can expect to pay around 50-100 Quetzales for this ride.
