Nestled near the town of Flores, Petencito Zoo is a sanctuary displaying the biodiversity of Central America.     Public Transport

    From Flores, go to the bus terminal near the bridge and take a bus or 'pick-up' heading to San Miguel. The fare is about Q5. Tell the driver you want to go to Petencito Zoo. The ride takes 15-20 minutes. From San Miguel, walk 1.5km or take a tuk-tuk for about Q20.

    Car

    From Flores, take the road toward San Miguel, following signs for 'Carr. a San Miguel' for about 5 kilometers. The zoo entrance will be on your right. Parking is available for around Q10.

    Walking

    From Parque Central in Flores, head northwest on Calle 30 de junio until you reach Avenida 5 de febrero. Turn left and walk to the bridge connecting Flores to the mainland. Cross the bridge and continue onto Carr. a San Miguel. After about 1.5 km, look for signs to Petencito Zoo on your right.
