From Parque Central, walk down 6th Avenue (6a Avenida) towards the west for about 5 blocks until you reach 8 Calle. Turn left onto 8 Calle and continue walking for about 2 blocks. Mercado Central will be on your right, at the intersection of 8 Calle and 7a Avenida.

    Find the nearest Transmetro station. If you are close to Parque Central, you can catch the Transmetro line 12 (the blue line) at the 'Parque Central' station. Travel towards the 'El Trebol' station and get off at 'Plaza Barrios'. From there, exit the station and walk east along 8 Calle for about 5 minutes. Mercado Central will be on your left.
