Car
From the center of Huehuetenango, head southwest on Calle 5 towards 6a Avenida. Continue straight for about 1.5 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto CA-1 / Ruta 1 towards San Pedro Necta. Drive for approximately 5 km. Look for a sign for El Jocotal Mirador, which will direct you to a dirt road on your right. Follow this road for about 1 km until you reach the parking area at El Jocotal Mirador. Be cautious of potholes and uneven terrain. Parking is free.

From the central bus station in Huehuetenango, take a local bus headed towards San Pedro Necta. The fare is around Q5. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for El Jocotal. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you may need to walk approximately 1 km along a dirt road to reach the mirador. Be prepared for some uneven ground. If you're unsure, ask locals for directions to El Jocotal Mirador.
