    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of the Ixil Triangle region, such as Nebaj. Head south on the CA-1 highway towards Antigua Guatemala. The drive will take approximately 3-4 hours, depending on road conditions. Follow the signs for Antigua, and as you approach the city, you will see signs for Cerro de La Cruz. Once in Antigua, navigate to the address H779+P7H, where you will find a parking area nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Cerro de La Cruz using public transportation, take a 'chicken bus' (local bus) from Nebaj to Antigua. The journey will take about 4-5 hours, and the fare is typically around 30-50 quetzals. Once you arrive in Antigua, ask the bus driver to drop you off at the main market or Parque Central. From there, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) towards Cerro de La Cruz or take a tuk-tuk for around 10-20 quetzals. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the entrance of the viewpoint.
