Once you arrive in Quetzaltenango, navigate to Diagonal 12. Look for the address Diagonal 12 8-43; it is located in Zona 01. Parking may be available nearby, so consider looking for public parking options.
Public Bus
To reach Quetzaltrekkers by public bus, find a bus terminal in your current town within the Ixil Triangle. Look for buses heading to Quetzaltenango (Xela). The bus fare is usually around Q20-30 (approximately $2.50-4.00). Once you arrive at the Quetzaltenango bus terminal, you can take a taxi or walk to Diagonal 12 8-43, which is about a 15-20 minute walk from the terminal. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Zona 01.
Shared Shuttle
Another option is to take a shared shuttle from Ixil Triangle to Quetzaltenango. These shuttles can be booked through local travel agencies and usually cost around Q50-70 (approximately $6.50-9.00). The shuttle will drop you off in the city center, and from there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Diagonal 12 8-43. The walk is about 20 minutes.
