Getting There

    If you are staying in one of the lakeside towns such as Panajachel, San Marcos, or Santa Cruz, you can take a public boat (lancha) to San Pedro La Laguna. Head to the docks in your respective town and look for a boat heading to San Pedro. The boat ride usually takes about 30 minutes and costs around 25-50 Q (Quetzales). Once you arrive at the San Pedro dock, you will be in the town of San Pedro La Laguna.

    From the San Pedro dock, exit the boat and walk straight into the main street (Calle de los Encuentros). Head uphill for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass by various local shops and eateries. Keep following the main road as it turns slightly left, then right. Continue walking until you see signs directing you to Canopy San Pedro. The exact location is approximately MPHG+3VV, where you will find the entrance to the canopy tours. The walk offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
