From Quetzaltenango (Xela), take a bus from the main bus terminal towards Retalhuleu. The fare is approximately GTQ 25-30, and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Inform the driver that you want to get off near IRTRA Xocomil in Santa Cruz Muluá. From there, take a local 'tuk-tuk' or taxi to the park, which should cost around GTQ 20-30.

From Quetzaltenango (Xela), drive on CA-1 towards Retalhuleu. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Santa Cruz Muluá. Follow the signs for Santa Cruz Muluá, and then look for signs directing you to IRTRA Xocomil. The drive should take around 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Parking is available at the park.
