From the central park in Quetzaltenango (Parque Central), head north towards 6ta Avenida. Continue straight until you reach the junction with 0 Calle. Turn right onto 0 Calle and walk until you reach the intersection with 7a Avenida. Turn left onto 7a Avenida and proceed until you reach the bus terminal (Terminal de Buses). Here, look for a bus heading to Santa Lucía Utatlán; the fare is typically around Q10-15. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to stop at the Iglesia Colonial. After about 30 minutes, you'll arrive in Santa Lucía Utatlán. The church is a short walk from the bus stop; head east on the main road, and you’ll see the Iglesia Colonial ahead.

At the Quetzaltenango bus terminal, find the section for buses going to Santa Lucía Utatlán. Buses leave frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
