If you are driving from the center of Quetzaltenango (Xela), head southeast on Avenida Las Américas towards 10 Calle. Continue straight until you reach 12 Avenida. Turn right onto 12 Avenida and follow it until it intersects with 1 Calle. Turn left onto 1 Calle and continue until you reach the junction with Ruta 1 (the main highway). Follow Ruta 1 southbound for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Antigua Guatemala. Once in Antigua, follow the signs for the Santuario de San Felipe de Jesús, which is located at H7F8+95C. There is parking available nearby, but be prepared to pay a fee for parking, which can range from Q10 to Q20 per hour.

To reach the Santuario de San Felipe de Jesús from Quetzaltenango (Xela) using public transportation, head to the main bus terminal located on Avenida Las Américas. Look for a bus heading to Antigua Guatemala; these buses typically leave every 30 minutes and the fare is around Q25. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Antigua, you can either take a taxi or walk to the Santuario de San Felipe de Jesús, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers from the bus station. If you choose to walk, head southeast on 5a Avenida until you reach 7a Calle, then turn left and follow it until you reach H7F8+95C. Expect to pay around Q20 for a taxi if you decide to take one.
