It is impossible not to be transported to the Mayan world once inside the archaeological complex, feeling like part of the civilization and landscape.

It was a very intelligent experience. I was fascinated to meet and enjoy a full day of the Tikal excursion from Guatemala. Each step inside the archaeological complex transported me to the Mayan era, and with the brilliant presentation given by our guide Fernando, who demonstrated having deep knowledge of the subject, in addition to being a local who knew the smallest detail, and who also enjoyed sharing knowledge and experiences. A real luxury for this tour, where I must highlight the precision, efficiency, and perfection in the development of the excursion 🥾 at all times, from the departure from the hotel 🏨 until the return to it. The company GTM Tour and Travel Services behaved wonderfully well, accompanying us at all times, without leaving anything to chance. I recommend it 💯 percent, and Don Héctor, the manager of it, is a brilliant person who was concerned about our well-being continuously, to whom I will be eternally grateful and I send him a very cordial greeting. Really, a luxury to have taken this excursion. You cannot miss it if you visit the beautiful country of Guatemala.

How can you be in Belize and pass up a trip to Guatemala to explore the largest area of Mayan ruins on earth? I went and have no regrets. All the travel warnings were unwarranted when we explored the ruins. The villages we stopped into along the way were full of nice people. The country side of Guatemala is breathtakingly beautiful. Our guide was Edgar and he grew up in the village that was one the current land of Tikal. His knowledge was immense. We learned so much from him.

On recommendation from another traveller, we booked with Edwin and were so very satisfied with the services he provided for us. Edwin responded quickly to our queries and communicated well the entirety of our time with him. We booked transportation from the Cayes to San Ignacio and Edwin was right on time meeting our water ferry with his clean and comfortable vehicle. We did several tours in the San Ignacio area which were also right on time and well done. (His mom makes a delicious lunch for one of these adventures!) The other guide, Francisco who works alongside Edwin was also excellent and certainly showed to us his love of his beautiful country.
