Public Transport
To reach Cuevas de B'omb'il Pek via public transportation, start by taking a shuttle or bus from Semuc Champey to Lanquín. From Lanquín, take a bus or shared taxi to Chisec, which takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once in Chisec, hire a local taxi or inquire about shared transport options to the caves, roughly 5 kilometers away. Expect to pay around 30-50 GTQ for the taxi or shared ride.
Car
If driving, head from Semuc Champey towards Lanquín and follow the CA-9 highway towards Cobán. After about 10 kilometers, exit towards Chisec (Route 7) and continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach Chisec. From there, follow signs to Cuevas de B'omb'il Pek, located near coordinates RPP7+24J, about 5 kilometers from Chisec center. Parking is available near the entrance for approximately 10-20 GTQ.
