From Verapaces, head south on CA-9 towards Guatemala City. Continue on CA-9 for about 40 kilometers until you reach the junction for Antigua Guatemala. Take the exit towards Antigua and follow the signs for the city center. Once in Antigua, navigate to 6a Calle Oriente where Tanque La Unión is located. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a small fee.

From Verapaces, take a bus heading to Guatemala City. These buses frequently depart from local terminals. Once you arrive at the terminal in Guatemala City, switch to a bus headed towards Antigua Guatemala. The journey should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Upon arriving in Antigua, you can walk or take a tuc-tuc to 6a Calle Oriente, where Tanque La Unión is located. Expect to pay around Q30 for the bus fare to Guatemala City and an additional Q10 to Q15 for the bus to Antigua.
