From any location in Grandes Rocques, head southeast on La Grande Rue (the main road). Continue on this road for about 2.5 miles, following the signs toward the coast. As you approach the coast, look for signs directing you to Fort Le Marchant. You will reach the entrance point at GF5J+GG5, Guernsey. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, look for the bus service that operates in the Grandes Rocques area. Bus routes 91 and 92 frequently run along the main road. Board the bus heading towards St. Peter Port. Alight at the stop nearest to La Grande Rue (the main road). From there, it is a short 0.5-mile walk towards the coast, following the signs for Fort Le Marchant. The walk will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from a central location in Grandes Rocques, locate La Grande Rue. Head southeast along this road, passing by local shops and amenities. Continue for about 2.5 miles until you reach the coastal area. Signs for Fort Le Marchant will guide you to the entrance at GF5J+GG5. This walk may take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, offering scenic views along the way.
