From the center of St. Sampson, start at the St. Sampson's Harbour. Head south towards the main road, La Route de la Cote. Continue straight until you reach the junction with La Rue de La Lande. Turn left onto La Rue de La Lande and follow it until you reach the T-junction. At the T-junction, turn right onto La Rue de La Saline. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto La Route de St. Peter. Follow this road as it curves around, then take the left fork onto Les Cotils. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Clarence Battery, which will be on your right.
Walking
Alternatively, if you are near the St. Sampson's Church, start from there. Head southeast on Church Road, then turn left onto La Rue de La Lande. Continue until you reach the T-junction and turn left onto La Route de St. Peter. Follow it until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto La Route de St. Peter. Continue straight, and take the left fork onto Les Cotils. Clarence Battery will be on your right.
