    Start at the St. Sampson's Harbour. From the harbour, head southwest along the road towards the main street, Rue des Rouvres. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Saline. Turn left onto Rue de la Saline and walk until you reach the next intersection. At the intersection, turn right onto the A2 road, also known as the Rue de la Mare. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by a few shops and cafes on your way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating La Gran’mère du Chimquière. As you approach, you will see the entrance on your left. The landmark is situated a short walk from the roadside.

    Alternatively, if you are starting from the St. Sampson's Church, exit the church and head south on the Rue de la Lande. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Rue de la Saline. Turn left onto Rue de la Saline, and follow it until you reach the A2 road. Turn right onto A2, and walk for about 1 kilometer. You will find La Gran’mère du Chimquière on your left, just a bit off the main road. Look for the distinctive stone structure as you approach.
